R. R.River View Park·2+ weeks agoHeads Up Neighbors. I had my Disability Placard stolen recently, as I was parked in the Albertsons Parking Lot. My fault, I did not lock my car. After a bit of research I find that there is a very active 'black market' theft going on pertaining to these placards. They sell for up to $300 bucks. T. J.River View Park·2+ weeks agoVery bizarre things going on at the previous Lux Tanning salon on Mc Murray! 😳 Had dinner next door and witnessed puppies running out of a white Ford Explorer (which of course drew my attention). The young man had a plastic box that he tired to contain the puppies in the parking lot and tried walking off. The puppies ran free. He then put the plastic container in the back seat with the pups. He left the driver side door wide opened unattended for 20min. I felt very uncomfortable,so I went to investigate and take a pic of license plate that was from Wyoming. I went back to trying to enjoy my dinner. I saw 3 other women with this young man and had 2 other dogs. They went back and forth from the tanning salon to their car probably a dozen times with nothing in their hands. One of the ladies came up to the restaurant window and waved at me to come outside. She was yelling at me for taking a pic of her car and was demanding me to delete the pic. I was told this strange behavior been going on for 2 weeks with different dogs. These people were clearly not locals. I called to report when I got home and dispatch was not interested. So please keep an eye out! CAL FIRE2+ weeks agoAgencyOn March 31, 2024, and April 8, 2024, the California State University, San Jose (SJSU) Police and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) - Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) Arson and Bomb Unit responded to fires in the Martin Luther King Jr. Library on the SJSU campus. The joint law enforcement investigation was a collaboration between SJSU Police and the CAL FIRE – OSFM Arson and Bomb Unit. The suspect was identified as SJSU sophom*ore student Amogh Upadhya. Amogh Upadhya was arrested and charged with four (4) counts of Arson and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail. Upadhya is being held on $400,000.00 bail until a court hearing on April 12, 2024. 74Rudy's RestaurantJesse Leyva And VERY nice people running the place. Just be VERY sure that the food you get isn't spicy unless you like that. I was going to order a chicken burrito until I asked "is it spicy" and the cashier said yes it was. I got a carnitas burrito instead, it was awesome, but I still had to pick out the occasional jalapeno here and there.C.C ·Neighbor since 2019
